Hospital CNA's will usually work a forty hour week, with rotating weekend and holiday schedules. There are some who are hired as part time and yet others who choose to work on a per diem schedule. With per diem, they will list certain days through the month they are available to work and may or may not be scheduled, as full and part time CNA's receive priority. There are many hospitals and facilities who will offer a monetary bonus for those who are willing to work extra hours.  The  Bethlem Royal Hospital  is a hospital for the treatment of mental illness located in  London ,  United Kingdom  and part of the  South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust . Although no longer based at its original location, it is recognised as the world's first and oldest institution to specialise in mental illnesses. It has been variously known by various names including St Mary Bethlehem, Bethlem Hospital, Bethlehem Hospital and Bedlam.

I saved a kitten from a cactus patch and nursed him back to health!

This little guy was born in a cactus patch. The mother would not let us get near them. The siblings did not make it, but this baby did and we eventually got him out of there.We had no pictures of him before we took him to the emergency vet because we were sure they'd have to put him to sleep. The next morning we picked him up and he looked 100% better than he did before. We call him Cactus Jack!

He was about 3 weeks old when we saved him, but very skinny. 

His eyes and nose were completely swollen and crusted shut, and he still had hundreds of cactus needles all over his body (even in his tongue/gums!). The Vet removed what they could, but they were tiny needles that blended in with his fur. I spent hours every morning picking more out of him. He sat patiently for it all, and even started purring.

When Jack started opening his eyes, we were pretty sure he'd be completely blind. He was also very weak and malnourished. The veterinarians who saw him all said "You might lose him at any moment." 

Jack is basically a normal kitten now. Aside from being skinnier than other kittens and having a bit of visible eye damage in his left eye, you could never tell he spent the first 3 weeks of his life being tortured by cacti.

For many years, costuming has had a widespread following and continues to experience growing popularity in  North America  and  Europe , and has more recently spread throughout  South America  and  Australia  The  Internet  has enabled many cosplayers to create  social networks  and websites centred around cosplay activities, while forums allow them to share stories, photographs, news and tips. The exponential growth in the number of people picking up cosplay as a hobby since 1990 has made the phenomenon influential in popular culture. This is particularly the case in Asia where cosplay influences  Japanese street fashion  and  popular culture .In Japan teenagers gather with like-minded friends in places like Tokyo's  Harajuku  district to engage in cosplay. Since 1998  Tokyo 's  Akihabara  district has contained a large number of cosplay cafЁ¦s, catering to devoted anime and cosplay fans. The waitresses at such cafЁ¦s dress as game or anime characters;  maid  costumes are particularly popular.
